Since Saturday there has not been a single Covid 19 patient in the city of Salzburg. The head of the city’s crisis management team, Michael Haybäck, and the state media center confirmed a corresponding report by ORF Salzburg. Lungau has been “crown free” for a few days.
In the city of Salzburg, one is relieved that the numbers are “very gratifying,” says Haybäck. The population is now expected to continue to do so well, because Salzburg as a metropolitan area is particularly at risk.
A total of 41 infected people were registered in the state as of Saturday. Since the pandemic began, 1,235 people have tested positive for the virus, 36 have died with or from Covid-19. 28 people are in the hospital, two in the intensive care unit.
