New crisis regulation: what rules apply from Monday

New tightening measures announced Thursday to combat the corona pandemic have been in prescription form since Friday. • Gastronomy: In catering, only ten people can sit together as a group, plus children. As already announced, the customer must wear mouth and nose protection on site, except when sitting at the table. In the catering industry, the mask requirement is extended to guests as long as they are not seated. The curfew is generally established at 1.00 am, operations in bars are not allowed. Eating and drinking are only allowed while sitting, at the “administration points”.
• Events: Indoor events without marked venues are only allowed for ten people. So far, the maximum value has been 50. If you are planning an event with an audience of more than 250 people, the approval of the responsible district administrative authority is required. Additionally, for events with more than 50 people indoors and more than 100 people outdoors, the organizer must appoint a Covid officer and develop and implement a prevention concept.
• Exceptions: Funerals are exempt from the restrictions that will apply to weddings, for example where only ten people would be allowed in the future. Under the ordinance, a maximum of 500 people applies to these funeral services.
