Vienna (OTS) – “The federal president is doing what the federal government has been unable to achieve for months: an open and constructive exchange with the opposition, which is so important in times like these,” says NEOS Secretary General Nick Donig and appreciates the conversation between Federal President Alexander Van der Bellen and the opposition parties on the relaxation of the crown measures.
“The absence of the ÖVP and the Greens at yesterday’s ‘Round Table’ on ORF is extremely problematic. Right now we need an objective discussion between all the groups. This refusal to speak clearly demonstrated that Parliament’s opinion is not valued, ”Donig concluded.
