Name and Program Announced: Strache Presents New Party – Wien Aktuell

Former FPÖ leader and vice chancellor Heinz-Christian Strache will once again invite Sofiensaal to present their new party next Friday, where they made their first appearance after the Ibiza affair in January. The “Little Newspaper” reports. Strache announced in late April that he would present his new citizens’ movement across Austria on May 15.

The name and program will also be announced there. Strache had recently emphasized that the movement, which is currently still called “Allianz für Österreich”, would bear his name in the title.

The former blue boss, who has also already announced, wants to compete in the Vienna elections in the fall as the top candidate on the list, who must collect statements of support to start. The alliance was founded in late 2019 by three Viennese separatist FPÖ state mandates.
