127 firefighters fought a large fire in Seckau.
SECKAU. For a larger fire, emergency services had to move in Seckau on Saturday: a farm building was in full fire in the afternoon. 127 members of nine fire departments had to control the flames and at the same time prevent the fire from spreading to a neighboring house, garages and a living room.
Nobody hurts
Animals can be removed from the barn and taken to an adjacent paddock well in advance. According to initial reports from the emergency services, no one was injured. Only after hours of extinguishing work did the helpers control the flames. The farm building, however, was burned to the ground. The cause is still being investigated.
Many emergency services
The Seckau, Bischoffeld, Kobenz, Knittelfeld, St. Marein, Apfelberg, Spielberg, Sachendorf and St. Lorenzen fire brigades were in action under the coordination of the chief of operations.
