On Easter Sunday night, a motorcyclist chased police in Vienna-Floridsdorf and recorded 16 advertisements. According to police spokesman Paul Eidenberger, a motorcycle patrol officer detained the 20-year-old, who was riding a moderately heavy machine, on Siemensstrasse shortly after 8 p.m. The driver let a passenger get off and ran away.
The police started the chase. At Siemensplatz, the 20-year-old translated two intersections with red at least 140 kilometers per hour, as did the Siemensstrasse / Giefinggasse intersection. There were a total of seven screens due to the red lights alone.
The search continued towards Eipeldauer Strasse, where the 20-year-old went to a service station. He parked the motorcycle behind the car wash and hid in the service station toilet, depositing the helmet behind the toilet seat. All this was useless, the police immediately discovered the Romanian citizen.
The 20-year-old had no driver’s license, the motorcycle was not approved, and a license plate from Upper Austria was stolen in 2019. The man was shown.
