Fabio Quartararo takes the victory in Barcelona.

Frenchman Fabio Quartararo celebrated his third MotoGP victory of the season this Sunday at the Catalan Grand Prix in Barcelona. The Yamaha rider won ahead of the two Suzukis owned by Joan Mir and Alex Rins.

Valentino Rossi on a Yamaha fell on his way to his 200th MotoGP podium, and KTM riders Pol Espargaró and Miguel Oliveira also fell. Brad Binder finished eleventh as the best KTM rider. Quartararo regained the World Cup leadership with his victory.

Kofler ranks 23rd in Moto3

In Moto3, Upper Austria’s Maximilian Kofler finished 23rd on the KTM from 30th on the grid, Brad Binder’s brother Darryn celebrated his first World Championship victory. Moto2 went to Rossi’s half brother, Luca Marini.
