VIENNA / LINZ. On Tuesday 105 more corona deaths were reported in Austria. So far, a total of 4,002 people have died from the corona virus. This is clear from the figures of the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Health.
The number of new infections was 2,377 on Tuesday. The day before was 2263.
The seven-day incidence, the number of people per 100,000 inhabitants infected with the coronavirus in the last seven days, has fallen slightly again: according to the AGES panel, as of Tuesday it was 242.2 for Austria.
3,917 patients with corona were in hospital treatment yesterday (more than 32), 609 of them in intensive care units (less seven).
