Will the weather continue tomorrow?
Today the first free practice sessions were held on a wet track, in the afternoon it dried slowly. A look at the weather forecast for tomorrow shows that it could rain again at least in the morning. That should make things difficult for all those who would not go straight to the second trimester according to the current state. But maybe the god of time will have mercy.
One thing is for sure: tomorrow Valentino Rossi will be there again after his Corona-related withdrawal. Whether this also applies to his teammate Maverick Vinales has yet to be officially confirmed. Everything will depend on the result of your test. Fingers crossed and we’ll be back tomorrow with a new edition of our MotoGP live ticker. Until then!

MotoGP: more difficulties for Viñales?
As if Sunday’s pit lane start wasn’t bad enough for Maverick Vinales, an employee of his team is now known to have tested positive at Corona. He did a test himself this morning, but the result is not yet available.
Whether or not he has to isolate himself and can continue to compete on race weekend is unclear at this time.
Moto2 update: Dixon injured
Jake Dixon immediately grabbed his right hand as a result of his fall in the second Moto2 free practice. After the medical check-up it is clear: the Briton suffered a fracture in his right wrist and was therefore declared “unfit” for the rest of the race weekend.
Get well soon!

MotoGP: fixed Rossi’s return on Saturday
He was unable to intervene on Friday, but after his second negative test result, it is clear that Valentino Rossi will be back on track on Saturday. After having to skip both Aragon weekends due to his corona infection, he can finally get back to his Yamaha M1.
Moto2 FT2: Bastianini beats Lowes
Because Sam Lowes can no longer intervene in the action after his knockdown, he loses his pre-final best time to Enea Bastianini, who thrusts himself forward in the final attack. At 1: 36.804 minutes, it is 0.057 seconds faster than Lowes. Joe Roberts ranks third.
Lorenzo Baldassarri and Fabio Gi Giannantonio reach the top 5, while Remy Gardner, Jorge Martin, Simone Corsi, Héctor Garzo and Marco Bezzecchi secure a place in the top 10. Tom Lüthi and Marcel Schrötter finish eleventh and fourteenth on Friday, Luca Marini is fifteenth.
Moto2 FT2: improvement in Marini
Marini’s life signs: The Italian climbed to tenth position and reduced the distance to the top to 0.580 seconds. However, some drivers are now writing personal records, which altered the classification in the final phase.
Moto2 FT2: Lowes fell
Now he’s caught the front runner: At Turn 8, Lowes slides on the front wheel. He appears unscathed, but his bike is damaged. This could mean that the session for him could end prematurely. He still ranks first in the rankings, but the competition is coming.
With Roberts, Chantra, Martin and Lüthi, four drivers are now half a second apart.
Moto2 FT2: Without moving
The competition continues to grapple with Lowes’ fastest time. Although Roberts and Baldassarri edged out Lüthi and are now in second and third place, they are still seven tenths of a second and more to go at Lowes.
Meanwhile, the last ten minutes begin.
Moto2 FT2: Marini is still in trouble
In the morning, Luca Marini was completely lost. And even now, on a largely dry track, the VR46 rider doesn’t seem to find a green branch. He is behind in 22nd place and two seconds behind.
You only have 18 minutes left to change that. More than half of the training time has already expired.
Moto2 FT2: The lead is melting a bit
Lüthi was able to narrow the gap with Lowes to 0.758 seconds. Still, there is still a lot of wood. Roberts, Baldassarri, Martin, Garzo, Vierge and Schrötter line up behind him.
Moto2 FT2: Big advantage
Lowes has now screwed up the fastest time to 1: 36,861 minutes. This makes it light years faster than the rest of the field. Lühti, in second place, is 1,072 seconds behind, while Bezzecchi is missing in third place 1,214 seconds. The World Cup leader is currently in a league of his own.
Moto2 FT2: Lowes sets the pace
Unsurprisingly, all drivers are immediately faster than they were in the morning when it was still raining. The first half of 1:38 is set by Sam Lowes, who takes the lead ahead of Fabio Giannantonio and Joe Roberts.
Jake Dixon, currently fourth, crashes at the beginning of Turn 4 and immediately holds his right wrist. That looks suspiciously like a wound.
Moto2 FT2: The last practice of the day
There are still some wet spots on the asphalt, but slicks are also the tires of choice in Moto2. With the exception of Kasma Daniel, who is suspended due to a suspected crown, everyone is on the track, including Hafizh Syahrin, who can barely walk a straight line after his serious fall in the morning.
MotoGP FT2: The other placements
Maverick Vinales has dropped to eleventh after losing his fastest lap. Cal Crutchlow also misses his personal best due to yellow flags and is only twelfth. His colleagues from the Honda brand, Stefan Bradl and Alex Márquez, finished on Friday the 14th and 15th.
At attack time, Rossi substitute Garrett Gerloff had to admit defeat to the more seasoned competition, but in the nineteenth he was able to outrun Lorenzo Savadori and Tito Rabat.
