Pop singer Michael Wendler (47) and his girlfriend Laura Müller (19) have been talking about a possible wedding for a long time. But despite all the criticism, it actually happened: Michael made a romantic marriage proposal to his young girlfriend. While Laura proudly presents her engagement ring on Instagram, one point should go unanswered. What last name will both of them have? One thing is certain: Wendler will not.

Because Wendler is just the stage name of the pop singer, whose real name is Michael Norberg. When he and Claudia Norberg (49) married in 2009, he adopted his ex-wife’s maiden name. Would the name Norberg be the solution? At least Claudia has a very clear opinion.

Claudia Norberg’s name is taboo

As Claudia said a few weeks ago, only she is a true Norberg; for BUNTE.de, explains: “I hope for the moral of Michael and his new partner that if there is a marriage, my two heartfelt requests and my last name ‘Norberg’ will not be passed on to the new partner.” The former jungle candidate wants this especially for the sake of his late father and daughter Adeline (18). However, some alternatives remain. Either they both keep their last names or Michael will be called Müller in the future. Also conceivable: Michael takes his birth name Skowronek again. However, the two decide that one thing is already certain: Michael and his Laura are guaranteed not to get bored.
