The fronts between volunteer superstar Lionel Messi and her club FC Barcelona are tightening.
According to Spanish media reports, the Argentine will not undergo a crown test on Sunday or participate in FC Barcelona training sessions.
As reported this Saturday by “La Vanguardia”, the Argentine soccer superstar would prefer to send a registered letter from Burofax to his club, informing the Catalans of this step.
This brings the next act in the dispute between Messi and Barça.
Messi announced his departure to Barça through Burofax on Tuesday, a few days after beating FC Bayern by 2: 8 in the quarterfinals of the Champions League, and announced that he wanted to remove a contractual clause according to which he could leave the club for free. However, according to the club, the deadline to draft the clause for this year expired in June.
In the following days, the club had announced that it would fight for Messi. Just Thursday, neo-coach Ronald Koeman said he wanted to convince the 33-year-old to stay.
