Emergency services discovered another fatality late Saturday afternoon in an area where another person had been found a few hours earlier, the police chief announced early in the evening. On Friday, emergency services found the first dead in the area of the landslide. Before the three previous finds, ten people were missing, including two minors.
Police have not yet released information on the sex and age of the three dead found. The search for survivors should continue into the evening.
The massive landslide occurred early Wednesday morning in Ask in the Gjerdrum municipality about 40 kilometers northeast of Oslo, we reported. At least ten people were injured and nine houses collapsed as a result of their departure. Around 1000 people were brought to safety.
