The 39,000 Interior Ministry employees were called in on Monday to volunteer to be tested for the corona virus. By noon, a total of 4,864 members of the executive and management had been assessed, including department head Karl Nehammer (ÖVP).

Massive BMI tests will be performed between December 7 and 10, 2020 and December 14 and 18, 2020. For this, a total of 86,000 antigen tests were acquired, which are distributed in two sections (38,000, 48,000) . The tests are carried out anonymously and voluntarily. If a rapid antigen test is positive, a PCR test is performed immediately on site. So far, 1,500 PCR test kits have been purchased.
