About two-thirds of all teachers participated in the massive crown tests over the weekend.
A mid-term evaluation by the Minister of Education, Heinz Faßmann, was positive. Fassmann assumed that more than two-thirds of educators would participate. Completed tests had a positive rate of 0.3 percent.
This was generally remarkable: the positive rate both in the pedagogue tests and in general was practically everywhere below 0.5 percent. Carinthia was a small outlier with a positive rate of around 0.7 percent. Faßmann called it “gratifying that so many educators have come to the test stations” and testified to “a high degree of responsibility.”
Step towards normality
“The teacher tests are an important step in bringing normalcy to a great extent to our schools. This weekend we are on average with 5,000 soldiers in the tests,” said Defense Minister Klaudia Tanner. “I am pleased that the trial offer has been well received and that it has run smoothly thus far.”
