Four Austrians were able to qualify for the main competition. At 127 meters, Clemens Leitner achieved the longest ÖSV jump in the first round and was 17th at halftime. Markus Schiffner (127.5m) was 23rd and Timon-Pascal Kahofer (125.5m) was 25th. also qualify for the second round.
The second round was characterized by difficult wind conditions. From the Austrian point of view, Markus Schiffner got along well with him. Upper Austria sailed at 134 meters and managed to regain twelve places. With eleventh place, the 28-year-old tied his best World Cup result yet, which he achieved in 2017 at Bischofshofen. Clemens Leitner landed at 118 meters, had to lose two places and finished in 19. Timon-Pascal Kahofer was happy with his first points in the World Cup. The 21-year-old Tyrolean jumped 118.5 meters and was 21st.
The ÖSV team will continue next week in Russia, where two individual competitions are on the program in Nizhny Tagil.
