Deputy Governor of the FPÖ Upper Austria and regional party leader Manfred haimbuchner (42) had to receive intensive medical treatment due to his corona disease. As “Krone” reports, Haimbuchner was allowed to leave the hospital on Maundy Thursday and return to his family. “I am grateful to be able to take the path back to life,” the 42-year-old is quoted as saying.

On March 18, the politician went to the Kepler University Hospital in Linz on the advice of his doctor. He was then transferred to the intensive care unit, where he had to be artificially ventilated.

“Take yourself seriously” virus

The virus should not be underestimated, says Haimbuchner, according to “Krone”: “Humility is not the opposite of courage, but arrogance. Everyone should be warned about this. My serious illness has confirmed that I take this virus very seriously and I take protective measures at my own risk to strike correctly. ” The politician also thanks the nurses and doctors at the Kepler University Hospital in Linz: “The excellent care at the Primar Lamprecht lung clinic was decisive for my recovery!”
