In Vienna-Favoriten there was a bloody argument in an apartment on Thursday morning. One man (21) was seriously injured.
On Thursday at 10.30 am there was a dispute between two Somali citizens (21 and 27 years old) in an apartment on Antonsplatz. One of the two people quickly took a knife and struck the opponent with it. Neighbors then alerted the Vienna police, who were there after a few minutes.
Due to serious injuries, the 21-year-old had to be airlifted to the nearest hospital after receiving emergency medical attention from the professional rescue service. However, according to the police press office, the person is out of danger. The people involved are currently being questioned by the police.
The background to the bloody dispute is still unclear. The 27-year-old suspect was arrested, the investigation is being carried out by the Vienna State Criminal Police Office.
