Lukas Spendlhofer is once again about to leave Sturm Graz!
After the transfer to AE Larisa in Greece was broken at the last minute several weeks ago (more on this >>>), it now appears that a buyer has been found for the defender, who is no longer wanted by Sturm Graz.
According to information from “transfermarkt.at”, the 27-year-old is about to move to Ascoli Calcio from the Italian Serie B. Spendlhofer will do his medical check-up there on Friday.
Spendlhofer moved in the summer of 2014, initially on loan, from Inter Milan, where he was under contract from 2011 to 2015, to Sturm Graz. The defender played a total of 184 competitive matches with those of Styria, but more recently was left to the margin by club officers.
With Anastasios Avlonitis, Ascoli has already signed a central defender from SK Sturm this summer.
