On Tuesday 170 new cases of corona were registered in Lower Austria. A total of 1,219 people in the state are actively suffering from the virus.
In Lower Austria, the number of confirmed coronavirus infections as of Tuesday morning increased by 170 to 7,552 compared to the previous day. State medical personnel counted 6,216 recovered, 146 more than on Monday.
A total of 117 deaths related to Covid 19 diseases had to be reported in the state. This means that 1,219 patients were currently ill. So far, 283,329 tests have been carried out.
Dies 79 years at Lilienfeld State Hospital
According to Bernhard Jany of the Lower Austrian State Health Agency, a 79-year-old man died on Tuesday in connection with the corona virus at the Lilienfeld State Hospital. The man also suffered from previous illnesses.
