A full town hall plaza is currently not possible due to Corona, the risk of infection would be too great. SPÖ Vienna celebrates May 1 on the Internet.
The program on May 1
• Starting at 10:30 a.m. From May 1, 2020, there will be a party on TV at W24 and on all online channels (Facebook, Instagram) of SPÖ Vienna.
• The head and mayor of SPÖ Vienna, Michael Ludwig, traditionally gives a speech on May 1, which of course will be broadcast live. It will start shortly after 10.30 a.m.
• In the afternoon there will be a live broadcast with bands and musicians on W24 and online channels, as a replacement for the canceled May day at the Prater in Vienna.
Red carnation do it yourself
Fun: There are craft instructions for paper carnations and banners to print on the SPÖ Vienna homepage, so the mood for red fans should rise by May 1. All information is available on the SPÖ Vienna website
