The time has come: almost a year after the Ibiza affair, Heinz-Christian Strache officially returns to the political arena in the sofa lounges in Vienna.
Along with the “Allianz für Österreich” (DAÖ), details of the former FPÖ leader’s civil movement will be presented starting at 10.30 a.m., including the name, program and next steps of the new party. We report via livestream.
Strache had already emphasized that the movement would be named in the title. It has also announced its main candidacy for the Vienna elections in the fall, although the necessary statements of support have yet to be collected before it can begin.
