After the Council of Ministers, Federal Chancellor Sebastian Kurz, Vice Chancellor Werner Kogler, Health Minister Rudolf Anschober and Interior Minister Karl Nehammer reported on the easing of the blockade and the new crowning measures. This is followed by a press conference by Ministers Köstinger, Faßmann and Blümel on the issues of tourism, schools and finance. We will report live on the press conference from 2.30 pm.
As already announced, the government will decide in the Cabinet on Wednesday under what conditions schools and retailers will be allowed to reopen starting next week, after the strictest closure.
It is also announced which measures of the crown will remain in force, or how the lessons will be taught in schools and how the restaurant and hotel industry will continue.
