Integration Minister Susanne Raab (ÖVP) presented on Tuesday the integration report prepared by a council of independent experts. We will report on the live broadcast starting at 10 am
The integration report is now published for the tenth time and prepares facts, data and facts on integration and migration in Austria.
Presentation of the 2020 integration report
As was already known beforehand, the proportion of the population with a migratory background in this country has increased dramatically in the last decade. Today, according to the report, almost a quarter of the Austrian population (2,070,100 people) immigrated themselves or have immigrant parents.
This development is also reflected in schools. The proportion of students with a non-German colloquial language has increased from 17.6 percent in 2010 to 26.4 percent in 2019.
