Man fell 40 meters in the Pongau

In a work accident in Lichtensteinklamm (Pongau) on Monday morning, a 33-year-old industrial climber sustained fatal injuries.
According to the police, the industrial climber was busy with security workers at Lichtensteinklamm in Pongau when he suddenly fell about 40 meters to the creek bed.
A 33-year-old man dies in Pongau after a work accident
Two workers heard the Croatian’s cry, pulled him out of the stream bed and gave him first aid. Despite attempts to resuscitate first responders and the ER doctor, the 33-year-old succumbed to his injuries. The recovery of the body was carried out by the St. Johann Mountain Rescue Service, the St. Johann Water Rescue Service and the Alpine Police.
