With these instructions, Ryanair Group has managed to get large amounts of cash out of the country, ”says Liebhart, who is likely suspicious of tax reasons behind the shipments.
“As a life union, we wonder how safe and respectable an airline can be that commits countless legal violations. In Laudamotion, after the labor law violations first determined by the court, dubious cash transports are coming to light that must be investigated immediately for tax evasion “, says trade unionist Liebhart and calls on the national and European authorities to disconnect on time, ideally today. Liebhart expects the Finance Minister to carry out an immediate VAT check on the inflight revenue of all airlines. Specifically, the sales tax must be checked on board sales per month in 2019. Dumping competition between airlines unfortunately means that reputable airlines are under increasing pressure and, in the fight for survival, are faced with the question of to what extent it is possible to successfully participate in competition with a legally and socially recognized behavior. “We need a new legal framework, at least in terms of labor legislation, that guarantees good working conditions in all airlines,” says Liebhart. Tax law and other legal matters would also have to adapt to the immoral actions of individual corporations worth billions of dollars: “In the national legal framework, we immediately need a powerful wage law and social dumping and control authorities with sufficient powers. and resources to be a serious corrective against corporations like Ryanair. ” Liebhart.
