LASK is in the second round of the ÖFB Cup. The Bundesliga team fought to a 3-0 win against fourth class ASV Siegendorf in Wiener Neustadt.

Linz is overwhelmingly superior in the first half of the game, but fails to take the lead. Athletes are always dangerous, especially by the standards. The best chances are Husein Balic with a shot to the crossbar (14th) and Petar Filipovic, whose header is still scraped off the line by Philipp Prosenik of Siegendorf (26th).

In the second half, however, the goal knot explodes for the Austrians from Upper Austria: Andreas Gruber, who had just been substituted, lurks in the opponent’s penalty area and heads a rebound to give LASK the lead (54th).

The second goal for Linz then falls with the strong help of Siegendorf: former Rapidler Andreas Dober wants to clear the ball from his own penalty area, but shoots Husein Balic, from where the ball bounces off Dober’s head, then the Ball twists into Burgenland’s net for the second time (73).

In the final phase, Marko Raguz also added goal number three after a corner kick (89th).
