Large-scale pricing in the construction industry: competition authorities request the first fine

For years there should have been illegal pricing and market sharing for public contracts in the construction industry. This also includes orders in Salzburg. Now the competition authorities have submitted an initial application to the cartel court. More will follow soon.

The investigation takes years. The federal competition authority, the corporate and corruption prosecution service and the Federal Anti-Corruption Office are on the trail of an alleged large-scale construction cartel in Austria. Projects in all federal states are affected, including Salzburg.
