Dietmar Kühbauer remains a fast coach for a longer period of time. The former international has agreed with the current Bundesliga runner-up to extend his contract, which will expire in the summer. The Hütteldorfer announced this on Friday, two days before Kühbauer’s 50th birthday. Kühbauer will receive a contract until the summer of 2023. The formal signing will take place in the next few days. However, all the details have already been agreed upon by a handshake.
Kühbauer took up his role as speed coach in October 2018. “I am very happy that we have completed the extension,” the Burgenlander said in a club broadcast. “Everyone who knows me knows how passionate I am about this task and with what joy and passion I work for my club of heart Rapid.” On Easter Sunday, the Greenish-Whites begin with a guest appearance at the WAC in the Bundesliga championship.
