Unwillingness to cooperate as a challenge
The worsening situation in Kuchl and Tennengau may also be partly due to a certain ignorance of the citizens about the above measures. “We couldn’t find any more groups in Kuchl,” State Medical Director Petra Juhasz said at the time. “There was no longer cooperation in specifying possible contact persons for infected people. The number of infected people rose to 131 a few days after the quarantine took effect, but then dropped to 80 in late October. For this reason, the country decided to let the isolation expire, which was limited to November 1, midnight.
