In Tennengau (Hallein district), the Kuchl community is under quarantine and the ban on private gatherings and celebrations in the district, which did not go into effect until Tuesday, extends to the entire state.

In Tennengau, Flachgau, Pongau and the city of Salzburg, all pupils from the ninth grade onwards will move on to homeschooling, and a registration requirement for statewide restoration will be introduced. Additionally, an event ban applies across Salzburg if there are no assigned seats, either indoors or outdoors. Also, serving food and drinks is prohibited.
The measures will apply from midnight on Saturday October 17 to midnight on November 1.
