reLiverpool FC, the English soccer champions, suffered the biggest defeat in club history in a Premier League match after a disastrous performance. Team principal Jürgen Klopp’s team sank at Aston Villa 2: 7 (1: 4) on Sunday night and fell to fifth place in the table. The Reds last suffered a 7-2 loss in 1963 against Tottenham Hotspur, the Premier League has existed since 1992.

The Gunners, in which Mesut Özil was not part of the squad again, moved to a Champions League place in the table against Chelsea, at least for the moment. The Blues celebrated a 4-0 win over Crystal Palace on Saturday with national players Kai Havertz and Timo Werner.
Leicester City lost to West Ham United 0-3 (0-2) and thus suffered their first defeat of the season following a 5-2 win over Pep Guardiola and Manchester City. Wolverhampton Wanderers beat Fulham 1-0 (0-0). Southampton FC beat West Bromwich Albion 2-0 (1-0) at home.
