With 3,033 new infections on Tuesday, the trend in a weekly comparison after two weeks of lockdown continues to decline, almost double, that is, 5,805 people have recovered, according to data from the Ministry of the Interior and Health. However, there were 141 more deaths, a new record, which means 3,325 people in Austria died from the corona virus.
At 54,667, the number of active cases has again dropped significantly and the number of intensive care patients has also decreased slightly. Most of the 3,033 new infections across Austria came from Vienna, where there were 665 new reports, followed by 593 Upper Austria, followed by Styria with 401 and Tyrol with 383 new infections.
