Carinthia’s second-largest city, Villach, will turn yellow at the Corona traffic light on Friday, according to information from the APA. The head of the Carinthia regional press service, Gerd Kurath, confirmed on request on Thursday night that they had received the appropriate signals.

The Serbian Ministry of Health is introducing an electronic registration requirement for citizens returning from a country classified as a corona risk area. Specifically, this means that Serbs returning to their home country from Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina or Montenegro have to complete a questionnaire that is available on the website of the Ministry of Health.

The questionnaire is used to ensure that the health system can react quickly if returnees have symptoms indicating a corona infection, Serbian media reported on Thursday.

The New York metropolis has postponed the start of the new school year, which was actually planned for next week, for most students due to the Corona crisis. Only preschoolers whose parents had signed them up for a combination of online and face-to-face lessons will go back to school every day starting next week, Mayor Bill de Blasio announced Thursday.
