Platter: „Müssen unser Gesundheitssystem schützen.“

A month ago, he ruled out a strict lockdown. Now it is there.
Günther source: I have always stressed that we have to do everything possible to avoid it. Unfortunately, the measures taken so far have not produced the relaxation we expected. Hospitals are partially overloaded and there is a very tense situation in intensive care units in some federal states. It can be assumed that the numbers will continue to rise for the next two weeks. We must prevent doctors from making a life or death decision. Therefore, I support the government’s decision to impose a short and abrupt blockade.
First at 10 pm curfew, then the hotel and catering industry, now retail, will be closed. Is it still manageable for Tyrol?
Plate: We all wish it didn’t come to that. This harsh blockade hits our country with the same force as the rest of Austria. The federal and state governments spend a lot of money to mitigate the consequent economic damage. There is no other way.
Is it understandable that lower levels are also shifting to distance learning?
