The Austrian Agency for Health and Food Safety (AGES) reports on behalf of the Murtal District Commission that a person who tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 traveled from Seville via Vienna-Schwechat to Judenburg last Tuesday, September 29, 2020. The gender of the person is unknown.
The journey began with Laudamotion / Ryanair flight FR7337 from Seville to Vienna-Schwechat (seat number 27) and ended on Railjet 633 from Vienna Central Station to Judenburg (expected arrival at 20:58).
Gap in itinerary
It is unclear how the person traveled from the airport to the main train station. The original transmission said that the person had taken the train from the city airport (CAT). However, this is not possible, as the CAT stopped operating in March due to the pandemic. Also, if the CAT works, it ends at the Wien-Mitte station; therefore, a direct trip to the main station would not be possible anyway.
When asked by KURIER, AGES said that the information about the route came from BH Murtal; they are currently in the process of determining the actual route.
