“This is the passage players will love,” says Formula 1 partner Codemasters’ Lee Mather, and promises an eventful simulation by Zandvoort. The route is “highly technical” with blind corners and unintelligible braking points. “It is an attack on the senses and the player cannot rest at all.”
In fact, PC and console gamers have the opportunity to test the new route practically before a Formula 1 bike turns in Zandvoort. The 2020 Dutch Grand Prix, the first Formula 1 race since 1985, should have taken place on May 3, but was canceled due to the crown crisis.

In addition to Zandvoort, the Hanoi street circuit in Vietnam appears for the first time in the Codemasters simulation. This race is also under the Grand Prix, which could not be held until now.
The Codemasters game will go on sale a few days after the actual planned start of Formula 1 in 2020 in Spielberg, i.e. on July 10.
