Lukas Spendlhofer dares to make the leap abroad. The determined Storm Defender moves to Greece.
In Sturm Graz, Lukas Spendlhofer had long been canceled. At the end of last season it was resolved after internal disputes. Christian Ilzer, the new coach of the Blackys, also supported the club’s decision and did not let him play in the first two games of the season (0-0 at St. Pölten, 1-1 against Rapid).
Spendlhofer has now closed the chapter on storms. On Sunday it became known that the 27-year-old will join Greek club AE Larissa.
The central defender has signed a contract until the summer of 2023 and is the fifth Greek-Austrian legionnaire after Stefan Schwab (PAOK), Emanuel Sakic, Fabian Ehmann (both Aris Thessaloniki) and Patrick Salomon (Atromitos Athens).
