- HC TIWAG Innsbruck – Die Haie is back after almost a month – and, as in the last match before half-time, he meets EC-KAC.

- In the first match of the season, at the start of the championship, Graz won 6: 4. In this game, the Hungarians only had 14 skaters available.
- The 99ers are playing their 499th game in a row. (since the new league was founded in the summer of 2000) AVS has played 346 regular season home games so far.
- The two teams dueled for the 72nd time. Graz won 39 games.

- The spusu Vienna Capitals return to the league 28 days after their last match (4-1 home win over RBS). Dornbirn is on his second road trip in six days, playing his fourth away game and will play in Linz on Saturday night.

- The EC GRAND Immo VSV hurts for the first time with the iClinic Bratislava Capitals.
- While the Austrians ended their losing streak with a penalty shootout victory over Dornbirn on Tuesday, despite a weak middle third, the league newcomer recently suffered two losses.
- The VSV (8 games) is at the bottom of the table. With 35 goals conceded, “Adler” suffered the most goals lost. BRC (7 games) have conceded 27 goals so far.
- For BRC it is only the third game at home this season.
