In the 332 Carinthia derby, Rok Ticar (18th) put KAC in the lead by a balanced third. The Klagenfurters then dominated the middle third and made the decision with one hit apiece in overmatching and outnumbing. After a failed excursion by VSV goalkeeper Kristers Gudlevskis, Thomas Hundertpfund made it 2-0 in his comeback (26th), Matt Fraser made it 3-0 (29th). VSV had good chances, but couldn’t beat KAC goalkeeper Sebastian Dahm.

The capitals of Vienna also won the third duel of the capital with the capitals of Bratislava. Thanks to the 3-2 win, the first win after the last five defeats, the Viennese held third place ahead of KAC. With a 4-1 win against the Dornbirn Bulldogs, Salzburg stalked their fifth-place Vorarlbergs by up to one point. Following a 0-1 lead by Andy Yogan (4th), veteran Rick Schofield (26th, 31st / PP) and 16-year-old German Julian Lutz led the Bulls to victory with their first league goals (8th, 40th).
