Out of 6,000 daily corona cases, Austria slides into an emergency situation, here we come to the so-called “clinical emergency zone”. “We have to react to that,” Foreign Minister Sebastian Kurz said Thursday afternoon after a meeting with five top-level experts in front of media representatives.
Schedule “lock light”
Also in Austria, as in Germany or France, stricter regulations have to be adopted. It should go in the direction of a “blocking light”. “We have to take massive countermeasures and take action. We will inform you about this on Saturday,” Kurz announced. This is the roadmap for new measures:
► On Friday, the federal government will hold intensive talks with the social partners, that is, the union and the Chamber of Commerce. This shows that a lot of things are closing again. It is necessary to adjust aid payments and combat mass unemployment. This was announced by the president of the Chamber of Commerce, Harald Mahrer, in the “Today” interview: “It is about the existence of the people in this country.
► On Saturday, opposition parties and state governors will be informed of the new toughening of the crown.
