According to the Lower Austrian state police department, a shot was fired while the pistol was stored in the trunk of the man’s car. Any help came too late for the victim.
The crime scene group of the Lower Austrian State Criminal Police Office carried out surveys. There are no signs of third-party debt, state police leadership said.
