FC Red Bull Salzburg are apparently working on the return of defensive player Bernardo. As gianlucadimarzio.com reports The 25-year-old will be loaned out by the English Premier League club. After the departure of Jerome Onguene (Ligaportal reported: Loan with option to purchase: Jerome Onguene goes to Serie A) the Bulls are looking for reinforcements in the defensive chain.
Bernardo could find his way back to his former strength in Salzburg
Bernardo, who already kicked for FC Red Bull Salzburg in spring 2016, can be used variably defensively. The Brazilian has played in his career so far as a central defender and in both winger positions.
The 25-year-old is currently under contract with Brighton & Hove Albion. To date, he has played 50 competitive matches for the English club. In the current season, however, Bernardo only made seven competitive appearances.
