Most of the rest of Styria south of Mur-Murz-Furche currently has a red warning level. This was also broadcast for southern Lower Austria! According to the UWZ forecast, one or more strong thunderstorms will sweep across the region from the southwest. Heavy rains, hail and showers occur in the storm zone.
A red storm warning also applies in the west, throughout Vorarlberg, the Arlberg Tyrolean region, and parts of the Imst, Innsbruck-Land and Schwaz districts, as well as in the state capital, Innsbruck itself.
In Carinthia, the second highest alert level was issued for the Hermagor, Spittal / Drau, Villach-Land, Klagenfurt-Land, Völkermarkt and Wolfsberg districts. Only around and north of Wörthersee should the weather remain calmer here.
