Head-on collision in Pfaffstätt: traffic accident caused four injuries

PFAFFSTÄTT. On September 28, a 23-year-old Romanian citizen drove his car from Pfaffstätt to Mattighofen around 3:30 p.m. There were three other people in the car: a 44-year-old man, a 21-year-old man and a 20-year-old man, all three also Romanian citizens.
At the same time, a 60-year-old Bavarian was driving his truck and semi-trailer in the opposite direction. The 23-year-old passed a car in the “Kuglberg” area and collided head-on with the oncoming truck. The front roof of the truck was completely ripped off. All four occupants of the car were injured to an unspecified degree in the accident and were taken to the accident hospital in Salzburg by rescue helicopter or taken to the Braunau hospital with the ambulance. The truck driver was unharmed and alcohol tests came back negative. Between 3:30 pm and 9:30 pm, the lane was closed to traffic and then it was difficult to pass. The truck lost between 120 and 150 liters of fuel in the accident, so it was necessary to remove and remove about 20 m³ of dirt.

PFAFFSTÄTT. A serious traffic accident occurred on the afternoon of September 28 in Pfaffstätt: a car and a truck collided head-on on Mattseer Landesstraße. Due to the force of the collision, the car’s engine block detached from the body.
