Crown numbers keep increasing. A shocking new record was set on Friday with 9,500 new infections in 24 hours. So now it is sharpening.
The “Virological Quartet”, ie Federal Chancellor Sebastian Kurz (ÖVP), Vice Chancellor Werner Kogler (Greens), Health Minister Rudi Anschober (Greens) and Interior Minister Karl Nehammer (ÖVP), will be announced on Saturday at 16.30 (“Today” LIVE reports) announce the new much stricter rules for a total lockdown. The goal: at least the Christmas business should be able to get back to normal.

Currently applicable exceptions to the exit rules …
► Professional purposes
► Covering the basic needs of daily life
► Supervision and care of the needy and family rights and obligations
► Defense against dangers to life, limbs and property
► Physical and mental recovery.
… should at least continue to exist. The government wants to communicate this more clearly. The tough lockdown will reportedly cripple much of the hustle and bustle in Austria at least on December 8.
