It is well known that rational arguments are seldom used in discussions with convinced conspiracy theorists. And so, cabaret artist Josef Hader tries to get the wind out of his sails with humor. In a four-minute Facebook video, he smuggles aluminum hat users and fake news distributors through cocoa.

Set against the backdrop and dressed in the right style, he talks about the results of his intense internet research, “damn coincidences,” the “big population swap,” and manners cuts. The satire clip “Hader Discovers: The Great Conspiracy” has been clicked more than half a million times in the past few days. It is the most successful in a series of pointed video comments that Hader posts once a week to promote the offer online on his website https://player.hader.at/.
