Borussia Dortmund won the first match of the German Bundesliga against Borussia Mönchengladbach on the first matchday of the match 3-0.

BVB are the best team for long stretches and after 35 minutes they deserve to take the lead thanks to a great performance from two of their super talents: Giovanni Reyna can pass a pass from Emre Can to Jude Bellingham, who plays back to Reyna de 17 years. This can finally push the ball into the net.

After a foul by Ramy Bensebaini on Reyna, referee Felix Brych decides a penalty kick. Former Salzburg Erling Haaland made it 2-0 (54th) with confidence. But that is not all. A missed corner from Gladbach reaches Haaland, who runs across the field in full sprint and after a double with Jadon Sancho puts the ball into the goal (78º).

Dortmund temporarily occupies third place in the table, Gladbach is 17th.
