Skiing in Gaißau-Hintersee (Flachgau)? That is now finally history. Lease negotiations have failed, the owners said. The elevators are now going to be dismantled and sold.
Work has been going on for months to reopen the ski area. However, no agreement was reached in the lease negotiations with the owners. According to salzburg.orf.at, a “central owner” has confronted him. The operation of the chairlift for two people on the Gaißau and therefore the central feeder is no longer possible. Therefore, the ski area must be permanently closed.
