Gaißau-Hintersee: Agreement in negotiations for a ski area

[ad_1]

Skiing in Gaißau-Hintersee? That is now finally history. Lease negotiations have failed, the owners said. The elevators are now going to be dismantled and sold.

Work has been going on for months to reopen the ski area. In the lease negotiations with the owners, however, no agreement was reached. According to salzburg.orf.at, a “central owner” has confronted him. All the others have already signed the contracts.

Operation not possible in Gaißau-Hintersee

The two new operators in the winter sports area removed from bankruptcy, the Viennese lawyer Berthold Lindner and the transport and demolition contractor Bernhard Eibl, cited the reason why the owner did not want to enter into a contract with the elevator company . Parking spaces and the lower Gaißau valley route would be affected. The operation of the chairlift for two people on the Gaißau and therefore the central feeder is no longer possible. Therefore, the ski area must be permanently closed.

Mayors await an agreement

It remains to be seen whether the last word in the case has already been said. The two mayors of the region in question, the local head of Krispl-Gaißau, Andreas Ploner, and that of Adnet, Wolfgang Auer (both ÖVP), want to try again with discussions with everyone involved.
