Dominic Thiem surprisingly faces Hugo Gaston in the round of 16 at the French Open.
The wild card contestant and the last remaining Frenchman in the competition beat Stan Wawrinka in a close game with 2: 6, 6: 3, 6: 3, 4: 6, 6: 0.
